We won’t be seeing Alexei in season 4, which means Alec Utgoff, the actor who plays Alexei, won’t be back either. Alexei was murdered by the Russian assassins during the Fourth of July Fun Fair. Like Billy, Alexei was killed near the end of Stranger Things season 3. I’m assuming Billy will not be back for season 4. He could be involved in flashbacks, but it’s unclear if that will happen. Billy was the central antagonist in season 3 after he was targeted by the Mind Flayer.īilly’s death will likely mean that Montgomery will not be in season 4. Billy was killed by the monster in the season 3 finale while saving Eleven. Well, obviously, the most notable cast member from season 3 who likely won’t be returning in Dacre Montgomery, who starred as Billy Hargrove for seasons 2 and 3. But, who’s left out?
